I received free transportation to the port and bus station arranged by Mr Sophal during my stay. I relaxed in the heated pool on the 17th floor while looking out at the sea. The concierge desk organized my travel plans, including my trip to Koh Rong. I ate breakfast in the dining roomwith a wide variety of Asian and western dishes each morning.

Free van transport to the harbor

I rode in a free luxury van to the harbor when I departed for the islands. My room in the new building stayed quiet while I rested, though I enjoyed the large pool on the beachfront each day. I also had breakfast at the restaurant with outdoor seating, where I chose from many food options before I walked to the beach.

Parrots in the private birds zone

I entered the aviary with a special caretaker who stayed while I watched the birds of the family Psittacidae. I floated a breakfast basket in the private pool at my villa and rode a wooden boat along the river for the sunset between four-thirty and five-thirty. I also cycled through the green gardens and mountain views surrounding the resort.

Pool with bubbles for cooling off

I spent time in the spacious pool with bubbles during my stay. I drank cooling fruit smoothies from the on-site bar throughout the day while I relaxed on the lounge chairs. My room included an electric kettle, a fridge and a fan which kept the air moving well. I ate dinner at the restaurant on-site before resting on my firm mattress.

I played tennis and basketball daily on the outdoor courts while my family joined the organized group activities. We used the kayaks and snorkeling gear during our five nights on the island. Every morning I enjoyed the extensive breakfast buffet before heading to the gym or the beach.

I had eggs benedict and salmon with avocado mash for breakfast at FAT GOOSE. My apartment included a fully-fitted kitchen and a washing machine, which I used after spending time on the beach at Otres 2. I heard the sound of the sea the moment I opened my balcony door.

Direct entry to the water

I walked directly from my room to the pool area, cleaned every day. After swimming, I used the provided towels to walk over to Otres Beach. The staff gave me an iron when I requested one for my clothes before dinner. I slept well in the quiet room, kept cool by the tiled floors and the reliable A/C unit.

Ocean vistas from the thirty-third floor

I watched the city lights from the balcony of my room on the thirty-third floor. My studio included a washing machine, which I used for my laundry during my stay. Nanei met me at the entrance for check-in and helped with my arrival. I shopped at the large supermarket in the shopping mall situated across the street from the building.
